Innovation

UFM holds a growth mindset in business. We are continually researching avenues that we can explore to improve the quality of our products. We do this by analyzing consumer demands and market intelligence to understand our customers’ requirements. We can only achieve this through continuous innovation in our ability to develop new and better products for our customers.

We are committed to the growth of the fishing industry by producing nets that will preserve our lake resources. We work in tandem with relevant Government stakeholders, User Associations and the local fishermen.

Quality

We produce fishing nets with cutting edge equipment and technology. The quality of our finished product is vastly dependent on our raw material. UFM produces nets from unadulterated 100% nylon twine sourced from reputable suppliers. We aim for zero defects in our products, we have well-established quality control checks at all production stages fulfilling all our customers’ needs at a competitive price

UFM is a Quality Systems certified Company, acknowledged by the relevant standard bodies within the East African Community
